Install as App

Plot Along can now be installed as an app on your phone, tablet, or desktop. Tap “Install” or “Add to Homescreen” in your browser’s menu or address bar for quick access from your home screen — no app store required.

Reverse Route

Need to plan your return trip? A new reverse button flips the order of all your waypoints in one click, turning your outbound route into a homebound one instantly.

Improved Sidebar

Waypoint actions like edit, delete, bypass, and copy address are now organized in a clean dropdown menu instead of tiny hover icons. Deleting a waypoint now asks for confirmation first, so you won’t accidentally remove a stop from your route.

Better Mobile Experience

• Directions and map settings are now accessible via an overflow menu on small screens, keeping the toolbar clean and usable
• Fixed Safari overlap — UI elements no longer get hidden behind the address bar on iOS

Smarter Camera Framing

When viewing a shared map or clicking “Fit to route”, the camera now frames the entire route path including curves and detours, not just the waypoint pins. You’ll always see the full picture.

Other Improvements

• Loop routes now display correctly on shared public maps
• Bypassed waypoints are now easier to read — strikethrough text has been replaced with a subtle grey style and an amber “Bypassed” label, so you can still read the waypoint name clearly
• Public map markers no longer get hidden behind the info panel on shared maps
