This is a major update that brings real-time collaboration to life with live cursors, adds powerful waypoint management tools, and ensures you’re always running the latest version.

Live Cursors & Presence

See where your collaborators are on the map in real time. Each user gets a colored cursor with their initials, and cursors animate smoothly as they move — no more jumpy position updates. When someone drags a waypoint, a numbered indicator on their cursor shows which one they’re moving.

Waypoint Multiselect

Select multiple waypoints using checkboxes in the sidebar. A “Select All” toggle makes it easy to grab everything at once. With a selection active, you can bulk delete or export just the selected waypoints as GPX.

Edit Waypoint Addresses

Tap any waypoint in the sidebar to edit its address directly. An autocomplete search powered by Mapbox helps you find the right location quickly, with full keyboard navigation support.

Smarter Route Optimization

The route optimizer now correctly handles loop routes that return to the starting point, producing shorter and more efficient round trips.

Automatic Updates

Plot Along now detects when a new version has been deployed and shows a simple banner prompting you to update. No more stale pages or mysterious errors after a release — if your cached version falls out of date, the app will guide you to refresh.
