Plot Along 2.1.0 focuses on smoothing out the everyday experience. Building a route takes fewer steps, the app is easier to get around on a phone, and everything underneath feels faster and more dependable.

Streamlined Route Creation

Building a route is more fluid from the first click to the finished plan.

• Streamlined route creation. Starting a new route drops you straight into the editor, so you can begin plotting right away.
• Refreshed map information display. Your route’s name and description now live right along side your waypoints, where you can see and update them at a glance alongside the rest of your work.
• Helpful in-map tips. Subtle prompts appear at just the right moment to point out features you might not have noticed, and quietly disappear once you’ve used them.

Easier Mobile Navigation

Getting around the app on a phone is noticeably better.

• Mobile menu on every page. The hamburger menu now shows up on the login and sign-up screens too, so you can reach the rest of the site.
• Bigger buttons that are easier to tap. Buttons in the map editor have been resized and rearranged so you can hit the right one on the first try.

App Performance

Behind the scenes, a round of improvements makes Plot Along feel quicker and more dependable on every device.

• Faster first load on installed apps. When you install Plot Along to your home screen, fonts and icons are now ready instantly the very first time you open it.
• Email verification stays in sync. Verifying your email on another device or in another browser now clears the verification banner as soon as you come back to Plot Along, instead of leaving it stuck.
