v2.5.10
Usability improvements for touchscreen and stylus inputs
Plot Along 2.5.10 focuses on touchscreen and stylus accessibility. Editing waypoints now works naturally with a finger or a pen, so moving a waypoint, opening its menu and dropping a new point all feel at home on a touch screen.
Waypoints by Touch and Stylus
- Long-press to move. Press and hold a waypoint to pick it up and drag it to a new spot.
- Tap for the menu. A single tap opens a waypoint’s menu, so touch and mouse behave the same way.
- Draw with a stylus. A stylus can drop waypoints too, with pen input handled cleanly rather than mistaken for a stray touch.
Fixes and Polish
- No more private-window crash. Fixed an edge case when reloading the map editor in a private window that could cause a crash.
- A clearer permission notice. The location-permission alert now has high-contrast text that’s easy to read.
- Longer-lived verification links. Email verification links stay valid for a full 24 hours.
